Sharing FSJ's Journey Girl Section

Aloha Gang!!!!

Hope all is well!!! So I am sharing with you today, a charmed necklace that I put together using the charm elements found in Fun Stampers Journey's Journey Girl section. I just love adorable charms, don't you?? So, you need to purchase the pieces all separate, but I was able to earn these items, because my order went to a Hostess Level of $250, and I used the Journey Dollars towards these items....  Ok, so after you check out my pictures, be sure to check out the catalog below... it's an old catalog,  but shows the diversity of these charms, and what is needed to put them together. :)

You can check out my website at www.funstampersjourney.com/jenyoung for more info on these.

So here's how I started mines off... I purchased the Large Sparkled Round Locket #JW-0001 and the Large Locket Kit #JW-0027, also the 27" Diamond Cut Link #JW-0003.  I arranged the charms that I got: Pink Ribbon #JW-0071; Coffee Cup #JW-0018; Cross #JW-0020 and Love #JW-0021....

Added some i Hearts Hearts #JW-0037....

Close the locket, and then it's ready to wear!!!!!  Here it is dangling from my neck....

And now a look at a catalog to give you an idea of the different type of charms and lockets that FSJ carries.

So, if you're interested in hosting a party (I can do online (virtual parties) too!!! Do not hesitate to contact me. I would love to help you to earn Journey Dollars!!! Be sure to visit my website today!!!

Little C's Aloha Friday Challenge - Things With Strings

Happy Aloha Friday Gang!!!! It's time for another Little C's Aloha Friday Challenge!!!! But first, our WINNER from last week!!!! This week's winner is:

Melissa SunshineHoneyBee!!!!

Going into this week's challenge, it's pretty simple... the theme is:

"Things with STRINGS"

Simply use string or twine on your project. Ribbons will NOT be accepted. Here is my sample project. I created this card using Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Digi!!!! I am on the DT of this paper piecing company, and the owner has most recently started creating digitals, and we have been trying to incorporate more projects using them.  You will find that she has these in a COMBO set, where not only the cut files are available, but colored AND outlined digitals are included. You should check it out if you LOVE digitals.....

So, here is my take on this week's challenge....

As you can see... the "strings" are tied at the top of my cards, but even in the image, there are "strings" attached to the balloons. So go ahead, and try n' create using this theme... have fun with it, and don't forget to add your project to the link button below.

And on the inside... an adorable "pop-up" hedgehog to greet me.

Fun Stampers Journey July's Bloom Kit Projects

Aloha Stampers!!!!

Yesterday I posted the pic of all of the cards I put together in this kit, for my Little C's Aloha Friday Challenge. Today, I share with you the individual pics of each of the cards. I'm very happy that the kit comes with a step-by-step pamphlet in copying the cards that was sent. I'm a little adventurous when it comes to casing cards, and I like to change it up a bit. Not always a HUGE difference, but just a little bit of difference, and even using what I have already on hand.

So here are the cards, each by the sample instructions and then a pic of it on it's own...

On this card, I decided NOT to fussy cut the mermaid, and instead stamped her on the oval die cut provided. No sentiment stamp, and I turned the oval cut to 90 degrees.

The background sample of this card was the featured technique, of rubbing the ink pad against the cardstock. But I wanted to try a technique I've never tried before... the shaving cream technique. I was pleasantly happy that their cardstock didn't warp or bubble up when I did this technique. It's so neat how it turned out. I could've made more, but was focused on finishing this card. Maybe more in the near future. :)  This card looks like a perfect mom & daughter card!!

This adorable card was changed up by the background as well. The technique was to stamp n' emboss the circle inked parts. But I was too lazy to bring out my heating gun. So I went with a cut swirly circled stamp I had on hand, and stamped it on the background.

That was it!!! I love that the kit offers a new FULL SET of stamp set, and not a small one. For the price of the kit, already a stamp set this size is around $21, so including all the embellishments and card kits, I believe the price is right on the mark for the $25/monthly subscription. The other thing is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE that FSJ shares what the upcoming kits are going to look like. Here is a peak at the upcoming kits... August, September, October 'n November!!!!! So, in this case, you can decide whether you want to subscribe or purchase each kit individually. :)

To start your subscription today - or to purchase this month's Bloom Kit (Mermaid stamps), you can go to my online website, and click on "Bloom Box". My website is located here: www.funstampersjourney.com/jenyoung
